Catching Duties Led by O’Farrell as Cardinals Continue Spring Preparation

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — March 22, 1926

The Cardinals continued spring training activity today at League Park, completing another full day of scheduled work.

Bob O’Farrell handled catching duties and directed the pitching staff throughout the afternoon. Reserve catchers Frank Snyder and Gus Mancuso also received work as part of ongoing evaluation.

Pitchers continued to rotate through assigned appearances, with no changes announced to the staff.

The infield remained unchanged, with regular players maintaining their positions and handling defensive assignments without issue.

Outfielders continued in regular rotation, with additional players receiving opportunities as the club evaluates roster depth.
